(as a carer),

My mum was seen by Dr Judith, ED Locum at Armadale Hospital recently. I loved her approach, soft, gentle voice and funny anecdote. Good on you Armadale hospital. Also a shout out to the two ambulance officers (Prenessa (?) and Val) who picked mum up from BCC. Great service St John's Ambulance.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such wonderful feedback about your mother’s recent experience in the Emergency Department at Armadale Health Service.

I acknowledge that attending hospital can be an overwhelming experience and it was so wonderful to read that Dr Judith did her upmost to put your mum at ease during this time. Our values as a health service include Kindness, Respect and Collaboration and based upon your comments, it is evident that Dr Judith embodied these whilst caring for your mother.

It has given me great pleasure to share your comments with all of our wonderful Emergency Department staff and celebrate the acknowledgement of wonderful care with Dr Judith and the team. I have also passed on your kind feedback to our St John Ambulance Coordinator so that they may also be able to share your feedback amongst their service. I know how much your kind words and recognition will mean to them all.
