"A happy ending to a rough start"

About: Royal Hospital for Women / Macquarie Ward

(as the patient),

After having my Gallbladder removed 6 weeks prior at a different hospital, this op was going to be about 3 times bigger. A cyst 20cm x 17cm x 10cm had made itself at home for far too long and it had to go!

Dr Wan and the amazing team at RWNH, Macquarie Ward, Level 2 did such an outstanding job, from the time I entered the building, greeted by the warm faces at reception, I felt at ease, and in the safest hands possible. The caring patient nurses, Crystal, Melissa and Alison, I am so grateful to have been in your professional hands and care and thank you all for everything :)

Dear IROAM,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I was delighted to hear that staff from Macquarie Ward you mentioned and Dr Wan looked after you so well and made you feel comfortable and at ease.

We are very fortunate to have dedicated people working at the Royal Hospital for Women and this dedication makes us particularly proud of our employees and their commitment to providing care of the highest standard to all our patients.

I will forward your feedback to the staff involved in your care so they can share your kind words with their staff.
