"Reception staff"

About: Bentley Family CAMHS

(as a relative),

I was standing just nearby the reception area as my relative was sitting. I'm making way for another patient to sit as the space and seating was limited, so I had to stand. And while standing, my position was like facing the reception and a staff member started asking if I'm alright and I answered them yes. I recall the staff member said to face the other side. Being of another ethnicity, I felt very offended, I thought the staff member might be thinking that I don't understand English. My question is that it seems to me your staff member treats people of other ethnic groups with no respect! I would like you to give me an explanation of their behaviour? What did I do wrong to be told to face the other side! I was very upset.
