"Detox and counselling"

I became involved with Lived Lives Well for struggling with addiction. During my time with Caboolture branch, I found the services to be really supportive, understanding and without that feeling of being judged. I commenced an outpatient detox regime and attended counselling with the social worker.  I connected with her as she was genuine and honest.

Over the next 6 months I remained in contact with her. She offered tools to combat addiction, although I did relapse. However this did not matter, she continued to be professional and supportive. Through her counseling it was evident that I required time out from the pressures of working full time and other external factors. I attended Hader Clinic for a 28 day program. At the time of writing this, I am 31 days clean all thanks to Lives Lived Well and their ongoing support which identified the treatment I required.
