"Being in hospital"

About: Boort District Hospital / Acute Care

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I was in hospital for a week. Nursing Care was wonderful.

As a private patient in public hospital treated the same as all.

Medicine varies as I am used to rules as Dr's orders such as an epileptic tablet. I take 7am and 7pm as they must be exactly 12 hours apart.  However cannot complain as in my opinion, our small amenities are a credit to Boort. Congratulations one and all.

Dear Nicjg53,

I really appreciate your time to share your story with us. Being in hospital isn't always easy, especially during an extended stay.

Our nurses are fantastic aren't they! They will be really pleased to hear your kind words. It is very helpful to hear our patient's insights based on their personal experience so I will be passing your feedback about medication being received at the right time on to our team.

I hope that you are fully recovered and well once more.

Warm regards,

Donna Doyle

Chief Executive Officer
