Went for a colonoscopy recently at Kalamunda Hospital. Totally blown away by the kind, caring and complimentary staff. Everyone I came in contact with from pre admission- which turned out to be a very funny call- right through to the procedure, treated me much more like a friend than a patient, what great service/feeling.
Somehow I even ended up being first which was also an added joy, meant I got to eat first too. All staff introduced themselves to me and explained their role in my procedure. Such wonderful caring staff and everything I asked for was dealt without any hassles and always a smile. I couldn't have been more grateful if I tried for staff to truly care for their patients. Care and kindness through and through. Not everyone had a name badge on sadly, so I can only remember some names like Brendan, Adrian, Mona alas the rest of the staff names went away with my fading anaesthetic.
I would recommend the hospital and the staff to everyone even though beforehand I thought driving from where I lived was a long way. Now I say worth every kilometre we travelled and if I have anything else needing doing I will ask please for Kalamunda please. Much more than a beautiful community, I feel it's a great hospital also. A great big thank you from a great big fan.
"Wonderful experience"
