"Hospital ER assistance"

About: Fiona Stanley Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I am a visitor from overseas and was walking around Freemantle at approximately 1pm recently when I tripped on the pavement and hitting my head on the ground. People who came to my assistance called the ambulance, fantastic paramedics, Luke and Mykhala collected me and took me to Fiona Stanley hospital. The wait in the ER was rather long as they were very busy but once my name was called the Healthcare team, nurses, doctors, radiologists were wonderful and amazingly helpful. I have nothing but praise for the on duty team that attended to me. So I would like to say thank you to them all  from the paramedics who were the first point of contact, to the attending doctor, Dr David for their assistance. Thank you. From Bmc53.

Dear Bmc53,

Thank you for taking the time to provide such positive feedback. We are proud of the service we provide and really appreciate hearing from patients.

Our staff aim to provide safe, person-centred care; it was pleasing to see that this was reflected in the treatment you received.

I have shared your words of gratitude and praise with Dr David, the ED and Radiology teams, for which I know they are greatly appreciative.

Kind regards

Kellie Blyth
