"Exceptional care in ED"

About: Wonthaggi Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I want to say a heartfelt thanks to the staff in ED after I attended recently with a piece of metal in my eye which began to affect my vision and causing severe discomfort.

Despite my hesitancy in attending, knowing how busy ED is in our current times, I feel I was treated so kindly, promptly and professionally. The offending foreign body was removed, providing me with great relief. A special shout out to nurse Liz, Nona and (I believe) Dr Kishan, I think you are all wonderful and I appreciate the care that you provided.

Dear septemberws86,

How lovely! Thank you for making the day for our ED staff - they are an incredible team and are busier than ever and there is nothing that makes their day more than some lovely feedback. Nona and Liz are two of our excellent nurses, and Kishan is a Senior doctor who comes to help us out from time to time - we will make sure they all get this so they can see how valued they are by our community. Thank you for taking the time to create the post and I hope your eye is mending well.

Kind Regards, Jan:)
