"Child health nurse visit"

About: Esperance Community Health

(as a service user),

We had our 12month check recently with Rikki in Esperance. Rikki was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and patient. She held a comfortable space for me to talk about all of my thoughts and worries about my daughter and just transitioning to a new stage of motherhood. She followed up with information in an email and a contact for further information. I really appreciated your knowledge and patience Rikki and for delighting in my baby girl, thankyou.

Dear BabyMum,

Thank you for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback. I am glad to hear Rikki provided you with the support you needed and know that she will be too.

Rikki and all our child health nurses recognise the importance of parents feeling they are listened to and feel safe to ask any questions they may have. Babies moving into the next developmental phase can be daunting and our nurses are there to help make sure parents know what to expect and to provide the necessary tools and resources to help. Overall, they ensure parents know what a great job they are doing as unfortunately, the little people we care for aren’t able to provide that support and reassurance!

Thank you again for the feedback and for your support of our child health services. I wish you and your family all the best.

Many Thanks
