I have given birth to my little son earlier this year. Before birth and for six weeks after, I have been supported by my lovely midwives Melony and Narelle from Margaret River Hospital.
For most of the visits they came to my house, out of for scans that needed to be done in hospital, which felt like a huge luxury. These two women have huge hearts, are very empathetic, while at the same time are highly professional. They were approachable 24/7, I could text or call them any time and had a reply within the next 30mins if not much earlier.
I could approach them with any concern or worry, about my baby and my own health and they always made me felt heard and understood.
I felt so held, supported and calm, because I knew they were on my side.
It will be very hard to say good bye and I wished they could be my private little support team for my son’s first years of life.
Thank you Mel and Narelle for being incredible, I will never forget your support and how you two played a massive role in making these first weeks with my son the best of my life!
