"Lucky to have hardworking regional staff"

About: Kununurra Hospital

(as the patient),

Have had to, twice this year, go into our local hospital in Kununurra for minor day surgery. I feel how lucky we are to have such hard working doctors, nurses and orderlies (and other staff). I take my hat off to you for the work you all do. I watched a nurse one day working with a number of elderly indigenous patients. Their bedside manner with them, recognising their needs and being able to engage and talk to them and ensure they were comfortable before and after procedures, was so caring and empathetic.
