I have been to the Eye Hospital numerous times over about 20 years for various vision problems. The nurses and those taking scans have always impressed me by their friendly professionalism. Waiting times are usually very long but to be expected when there are so many patients. I am grateful that I am able to be seen under Medicare. The reception staff have also always been polite and pleasant in such a busy, high pressure environment. The doctors are mostly caring and professional and in my experience better than the local specialists I have paid a fortune to see.
At the time of writing this, I want to give special thanks to Dr Kelly who performed laser treatment for my glaucoma. I had also seen her previously in the Glaucoma clinic and both times she was kind, patient and addressed all my concerns.
