"Grateful for the pen pal system"

During COVID the local primary school started a pen pal system with the hostel residents. My son who has autism and ADHD has been in regular contact with a resident since. The bond between them is amazing and I believe has helped my son grow so much.

Dear Football101,

Thank you for providing this fantastic feedback about this program. It is great to hear that is has been of benefit for all involved. I have seen the joy in the residents when they talk about the interactions that they have had through mail with their pen pals.

I understand there are plans in place to arrange a pen pal catch-up which will be a fantastic experience for all involved.

Once again thank you for taking the time to provide a account of your son's experience.

Yours Sincerely,

April
