"COVID positive and needing treatment"

About: Broome Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I have been receiving treatment over the past 2 + years but regularly for the past 1 year at Broome Hospital.

I recently had to have treatment for my autoimmune issue at the same time as initially being a close contact then being COVID positive.

The infusion nurses at Broome Hospital arranged for the treatment I needed to be done at ED for the safety of other patients.

All of the staff who have cared for me have been excellent.

Nurses - Sascha, Leonie, Max, Pam, Steph, Leslie and Amy from NAS.

During the few days I had to attend, every day ED nurses Kate, Mia, Jade, Maddy, Gen, Kiara, Tahlia, Britt, Sarah, Liberty and Kodie all cared for me.

As well as Dr's Bek, Natasha, Andre, Emma, Jeremy and Beth.

I am sorry if I missed anyone's name - but I felt I was treated with kindness and dignity every step of the way.

I really feel Broome Hospital staff treat patient's holistically and I feel so lucky to be looked after here.
