Recently my elderly Nanna and I both had COVID, she became unwell at home and we had to bring her to ED.
The concierge staff at the front were excellent and reassuring while we waited for someone to come and help us get her out of the car.
Nurse Kath came and got her from the front. Dean the coordinator spoke with me on the phone and was really kind and professional giving me updates.
She got admitted for a couple of days to the General Ward.
She really liked her room, the shampoo and the grippy socks they gave her to prevent falls.
She felt really cared for by the nurses and Dr's in ED and the General ward.
The Dr (Steph) who was discharging her was very inclusive of both my Nanna and us to ensure she was safe and we were all well enough to care for her (we were all ok and glad to have her home but it was nice to have that checked).
