"Amazing care at Albany Health Campus ED"

About: Albany Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I came into ED with an exacerbation of my asthma and was seen to promptly! I had my infant little girl with me and had no one I was able to call to take care of her while I was receiving care. I was extremely nervous about bringing her into ED and trying to get treatment and look after her!

The staff were more than accommodating of having her there and very understanding, caring for me in a way that tended to my medical needs whilst keeping the fact I needed to care for my daughter in mind! It was such a relief and I am feeling so much better now that I finally went and got help!

Dear Dickylungs16

We do our best to ensure that all our patients feel safe and secure in our Emergency Department so it is great to hear that we looked after you and your little girl so well. EDs are complex and often busy environments and whilst our main focus is delivering safe and high quality care we do take holistic approach to all our patients’ needs.

We will share your story with the whole team.

Best wishes
