"Let down by our health service in Mandurah"

About: Peel Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Attended PHC recently. As I was positive they guided me to a chair outside in the dark. I’d attended two days previously, just a diagnosis and no treatment given. They said I should go to a chemist and get over the counter medication. The meds were affecting my kidneys so badly I could not walk straight.

I recall the nurse said there was nothing they could do and would not let me enter the facility. I was in pain and cold outside the hospital. I felt the nurse was unsympathetic and could not get rid of me fast enough. I feel let down because when you need help when you’re in pain and a hospital turns you away, it’s the worst feeling. I went home spending all night in serious pain.
