We are tourists in the area and my husband was admitted to Broome emergency department with severe stomach pain last week.
Within an hour he was triaged, given pain relief and seen by a doctor ( Dr Trent) where his condition was determined to be problems with his gallbladder.
By the following morning he had his gallbladder removed by a team of competent doctors and nurses.
From the moment we entered the Broome hospital to the time he was discharged, 4 days later, he was given the best care and treated by professional staff.
A big thank you to all the staff at this amazing regional hospital.
