Was diagnosed COVID+ in Early July this year, within a couple of hours I was contacted by your COVID-19 Community Management Team through POW Hospital in Randwick, stepped through the process to monitor me, delivered an Oximeter and got me set up for home isolation. This well oiled, knowledgeable, friendly  group of nurses, doctors monitored me twice daily for the duration of my isolation, but was encouraged to call if not well or worried.

I live on my own, this was an enormous comfort to myself and my family. I am in my 60s with co morbidities. Thank you to them all doesn’t seem enough.

Thank you for taking the time to write to us and sharing your story. We are very sorry to hear that you have been unwell and hope that you are progressing in your COVID recovery. We agree with your words of acknowledgement the CMC Team are extremely professional in ensuring the remote monitoring journey for all patients is one that is compassionate and tailored to provide safe responsive care for all our patients.

We will ensure that your kind words of thanks and gratitude are shared with the CMC team. It is reassuring to hear that the process of regular monitoring was excellent and you felt that the CMC team were so well oiled and knowledgeable and a friendly group of nurses, doctors monitored me twice daily for the duration of your isolation.

The CMC Team have made a huge difference for so many patients just like your experience has shown how important remote monitoring services are for delivering health care within your home. Your feedback has helped us understand how important the CMC service is to our patients and our community.
