I must say that when I caught Covid 19 twice - I am not the easiest or nicest person to care for. I had few comorbidities and I am not the easiest person to reach via phone during my Covid home isolation. As I looked back the greatest thing during my Covid home isolation is to have CMC nurses care and monitoring me over the phone daily for 7 days.
As I am not easily reached via phone - I only remembered speaking to Melissa and Susan. I will never forget Melissa's angelic gentle voice when she assessed me over the phone. I am very fortunate to hear her voice during isolation, very patient with me and great advice she gave me. I can also remember speaking to Susan late in the evening majority of time - maybe she works mostly in the evening. She never gave up in calling or leaving me text messages over my phone. I can see her dedication in what she does. I was well monitored and well advised with all the tips to manage Covid at home.
I really hope that every hospital will have such remote monitoring services so that all are cared for while in isolation.
I may not know these 2 great nurses in person but I know with all my heart that CMC - in my opinion they are your great assets to have in your remote monitoring management. So thank you Melissa and thank you Susan. Keep up your dedication and passion in all that you do.
