(as a relative),

My partner suffered their 1st Atrial fibrillation episode in 5yrs recently. They were admitted without delay to emergency ward at the Albany Hospital. Nursing staff were very supportive & put us at ease. Want to particularly mention Nurses Chole & Lynn. They were very caring & supportive to not only my partner but also to me. Dr Tom was impressive. I believe he was a gem of knowledge. Very courteous & a genuine person in my opinion. I found them to be a very professional group. 

My only concern is their safety. An incident did occur during our time on the ward & security had to be called. I would have thought it better to have a security person positioned in the ED rather than having to call them to come from another location. Apparently they need more funding for that position.

I am really pleased to hear your kind words and that the team provided you with such great care. It is always our aim to deliver high quality genuine care to our patients and ensure they feel safe during their visit. We are very proud to have Chloe, Lynn and Dr Tom as part of our large emergency team who are all wonderful. Your kind words have been passed onto them.

Thank you for the feedback regarding our hospital security. We have recently increased the numbers in our security team and now have security coverage 24/7 to enable us to have better security coverage in the ED and for the hospital more generally.

I do hope your partner recovered and is now well.
