(as the patient),

I came by ambulance feeling very unwell and spent the night and day in the Emergency Department. The nursing staff were incredible. Particular thanks to Steven. Their care, attention and professionalism was very much appreciated. 

Unfortunately though, I must say how surprised I was at the standard of cleanliness I found for a major hospital. In my opinion, the toilet was filthy inside and out and the mirror looked to me like it had been wiped down with a dirty rag. I was very concerned about the apparent lack of hygiene.
