"My program experience"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Maternity

(as a service user),

I participated in the positive birthing program, 4 modules over 4 evenings via zoom. I found most of the content to be useful information and practical tools for labour and birth. It is a 12 hour time commitment and I had chosen to do this in the 6pm to 9pm slot which I found was difficult given other family commitments but also some of the content was meditation tracks and the like which made me sleepy, I felt was hard to remain focused. Barb the presenter did an amazing job in answering questions and providing insight.

Dear saturntx88,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about our positive birth classes on Care Opinion.

We are so happy you took the time to attend the classes as they provide so many positive strategies to support yourself and your family throughout labour and birth. We acknowledge that timeslots don’t always meet everyone’s needs and I will be sure to pass on your feedback to Kasey who coordinates the class timetable as well as content. I am pleased, though, that Barbara was able to give valuable insight into a calm birth and she could answer your important questions during the session.

I wish you all the best for the remainder of your pregnancy and pending birth.

Take care,

Andrea Drew

Clinical Midwifery Specialist, Bunbury Maternity
