"Colonoscopy at the Hospital"

About: Kyneton Hospital / Perioperative Services

(as the patient),

I was very nervous both about the procedure. I already suffer from some anxiety.

Right from the very outset , on the days leading up to the procedure, My contact with Kyneton health and Kyneton hospital was awesome.

They explained everything I needed to understand and I found they were compassionate at all times showing me that they cared about me.

On the day of the procedure we were met at the hospital door by a wonderful lady who was bright and cheerful.

It didn’t stop there, everybody I encountered was awesome. The nurse in the waiting area for the Theatre told me when I arrived that things were only going to get better from now on. She also told me that I was going to get great care at Kyneton hospital. I believe she was right on the money. I’m sure her name was Jan.

When I was moved into the prep are I was met by the anethetist, the Surgeon and the assistant anethetist. The latter spoke to me the whole time asking me questions about my work and home life. I then went to sleep and arrived out the other side and was treated to a sandwich and cuppa till I went home. They sent my wife home and called her afterwards to let her know I was OK to pick up.

Based on my experience; Wonderful caring people in Kyneton health and hospital.
