"Access to continuity"

About: Patient Assisted Travel Scheme - WACHS Pilbara

(as a service user),

Due to self and family history my doctor request I see specialists in Perth for future continuity. I applied to PATS for my flights a month out of appointments, I had to follow up with less than a week before requested flights and the next day was denied, even with 3 appointments booked in 1 week to reduce repetition of flights and further time off work. I have been made to pay for my own flights and not be entitled to required comfort at time of need. In my opinion, get your act together PATS, everybody's circumstances are different, how about contacting them to discuss....

Dear Private313,

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback regarding Pilbara PATS processes. I am sorry that your request for assistance was denied. As you have stated everybody's circumstances are different and approval for PATS assistance is different depending on your specialist requirements.

Can you please contact me so I can investigate your particular case further?
