Nurses
In a period of year and a half, I have been twenty eight times to the Cancer and Hematology Service, and twenty five times to Radiation Department. I have been attended by about fifteen to twenty different nurses of both genders (more females for sure). I cannot think of no one time, where they haven't show me kindness, good manners, warmth and respect in one side and a terrific professionalism on the other.
To see my nurses working so efficiently individually and as a team. Explaining everything and making all look soo normal, at the same time that they treat your special needs; it gave me reassurance and a sense of trust, priceless for me!!
Also to all the nurses who took care of me after my surgeries at the Woman Hospital, what a fantastic team!! Going far and beyond to help me back to my feet.
Nurses are to me, the back bone of the health service. I will be eternally grateful to them!
As an overall comment after hundreds of hours at the POW, all I can say is that all the staff involved in my care makes staying in hospital a really gooood experience! I wish I was more articulate and describe all that my eyes have seen.
Once again big thank you!
