"Having my 3rd baby girl"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

I was in the midwife program with Ginny. She made me feel so supported & comfortable the whole time. It was my first experience in the public system & the MGP program, I felt nervous at the start but was quickly reassured and was made to feel at ease with Ginny being by my side the whole time. She was someone I could trust and just having that familiar face with me the whole time was so reassuring.

I would 100% do it again. I highly recommend everything about this program & just blown away with the whole service. All the midwives I saw were in my opinion, beyond amazing…and I can say I would 100% choose this program over the private obstetrician any day!

In my experience, the support you get is next level from the first appointment until way after your babe is here. I want to say from the bottom of my heart thankyou to Ginny & all the staff at KEMH that helped me through the birth of my baby you all deserve much more than I think you all get credit for.

Dear conditionerct43,

Congratulations to you and your family on the birth of your new baby girl. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your experience with the Women and Newborn Health Service (WNHS).

I am so pleased to hear that you had a positive experience with our Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) model of care. It is lovely to hear that you received the care and continuity you needed to support you through your pregnancy and the birth of your daughter.

WNHS is incredibly proud of the maternity care that is provided by our staff and the way they work with our patients to achieve positive outcomes during the pregnancy and birthing journey.

I will ensure your feedback is provided to Ginny and all involved in your journey.

Once again, thank you for providing us with this great feedback. I wish you and your family all the best for the future.

Barbara Lourey
