(as a service user),

Been trying to contact the Maternal Child Health Nurse for the last couple of months, using the phone number I found through Google, and had no success.

Google also said Drop In session available, so I turned up.

Found out that they haven't been running since covid.

My child is nearly 4years old, so I haven't needed to contact them till now.

I waited for an hour to be seen and was then told there are no sessions now.

Not happy and my child was getting impatient and I wasted my morning.

Please update the information on your website.

Hello my name is Kim Costin I am a Unit Manager of the Women’s and Childrens Unit that includes our Maternal Child Health Service. I was very sorry to read of your experience and difficulties in contacting the service.

Your story highlights the challenges that our clients can encounter with trying to engage with our service with the current system and information available on our website. It is important to us as a health service that there is ease in accessing our services and information available to clients is informative and up to date. This is an area that is currently being addressed with our website currently undergoing review with updates to our website that will better assist ours clients.
