"Emergency elderly care"

I deliberated many times about calling an ambulance, as I feel it would end in myself sitting for hours being unattended too, something I detest. I have always been an advocate of, if you need medical attention the earlier you get the matter seen to the better, and most cost effective.

I rang an Ambulance. They arrived, took me to the Hospital, I was in a lot of pain, little function in upper leg, knee button area which seemed to be spreading to my other side. I had difficulty in sitting, laying down standing up, and mobility in general. I got some relief from painkillers, and  antiinflamation pills like Ibrufen. This had dismissed. Over several days, I noticed the easing during the day, with severity occurring late pm to early am.  My groin area the centre of this varying but constant pain ,different types. Medial ligiment type with muscle spasms, cramp pain. 

On arrival at the Hospital, my ID and stuff was asked, I changed my ph number etc. I was then wheeled into the emergency waiting room where I sat for several hours in discomfort. Nothing seemed to me to be happening, no one came and asked anything, I felt no care, attention, welfare check, duty of care, nothing. So I felt was I deemed to be of no concern or what!

Note attempts to see my GP failed as the Surgery was closed until the Monday. I recall three different people told me I should go to the Emergency department. I left under complete pain, I went seeking help and I felt I got contempt, caused more discomfort, why was this happening.

In my opinion, perhaps just a little 'effort' to reassure, show care, and or advise me they thought I was wasting their time with nothing but anger and all the other components that turn into at least ten times the problem, than if just a little care might have prevented from happening. I want answers. I have no trust or faith in the Rockhampton  Hospital. I will investigate more, and require full written explanation. 

I would like Rockhampton  Emergency  Department, to respond and prove me wrong.
