My darling father was in subacute care. He had covid and unfortunately didn’t make it.
The lovely doctors and the nursing staff really took their time accommodating for his care.
They were absolutely understanding and so supportive and caring to our needs for dad due to him having covid 19 and pneumonia.
Due to difficulties , he then was transferred to ICU where family could visit him through his viewing room, which was truly a blessing for him and the family.
The nurses and doctors tried their absolute hardest to ensure dad was in as minimal pain possible and comfortable for his last few days.
Dad loved nurse Dave. He kept saying his care was immaculate and he should be a doctor!
He was constantly saying thank you and had no problem asking for help he needed. He was pleasant with his care at the Bunbury Regional Hospital - so much that he mentioned this was the best quality of care he had ever received at any hospital before.
As I work in healthcare, I have the most up right respect and gratitude to my fellow work colleagues. They were absolutely wonderful to Dad, myself and my family , I will never forget the loving, caring staff here at the Bunbury Regional Hospital and how well they took care of dad, me and my family.
Thank you
