Recently I attended the Day Surgery Unit at Busselton Hospital.

For a colonoscopy as a public patient. From the moment I arrived at reception until my discharge my treatment was excellent. Staff were both professional and caring, everything was explained clearly at each step making me feel very comfortable in what is a fairly daunting situation. I was treated with respect by everyone from the surgeon, the anaesthesiologist and of course the wonderful nursing staff especially Fiona and Anita.

This is a thank you story for a very positive experience with our public health system.
