Dear aquilaxw64,

Congratulations on the birth of your baby boy and thank you for taking the time to share your experience with King Edward Memorial Hospital.

Managing a pregnancy and bringing a baby into the world does not always proceed as planned and can cause real emotional distress for both mother and baby. Our staff strive to provide our patients with the support to achieve positive outcomes during their pregnancy and birth journey.

It is pleasing that the transfer to Perth went well, and that you were made to feel so welcome, safe and cared for by our staff during the birth of your baby boy.

It was also good to hear that you had such a positive experience with the Maternal Fetal Assessment Unit (MFAU). Our staff are committed to this service and this is a true testament to the collaborative approach we undertake with our patients to achieve such positive results.

Thank you for sharing your story and we will be sure to send your appreciative comments to all the staff involved.

I wish you all the best for the future.
