"The support provided to my mother"

About: Inglewood & Districts Health Service Aged Care

(as a relative),

My mum is a resident at IDHS, she is now non weight bearing and has memory loss.

She still has her sense of humour and responds with her quips, which is wonderful.

Sometimes she does not want to get up out of bed, the staff are great, with mum.  She loves chocolate and they will offer her some from the supply in her room.  I do know that the nurse Sandra will always move my mothers bed by the window if she is having a day in bed, and talk about whatever comes to mind.  This allows mum to doze and then look at the outside world.

I feel that she feels valued.  Other staff seem to pop in and say hello.

So thank you.
