"Open heart surgery"

My partner had open heart surgery late last year to replace a mitral valve and repair a tricuspid valve.  He required an emergency hernia operation 5 days later.  He was in the Cardio Thoracic ICU unit at The Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick for 11 days.

The level of care he received in ICU was superb.  The medical staff were always ready to give me updates and the care and attention that the staff administered to my partner was first class.  We cannot thank them enough.
