"Face to face service"

(as a relative),

My partner has terminal cancer and this involves many trips to Perth.  Since covid days, one cannot be seen face to face with Pats staff. I feel there is no capacity for privacy where it is situated within the reception area.  There were cubicles where we could be seen in person.  The staff do a wonderful job under the circumstances they now have to navigate.  Please advise that the face to face service will resume in the near future. I found it takes away some of the stresses we endure when we can be seen face to face and discussion can be had on everything to do with said trips.

Thank you for sharing your story on Care Opinion.

I was very sad to read that we have added to your stress at such a difficult time and would like to do everything we can to alleviate that.

Our current options for conducting PATS business include by telephone 9956 2216, or by email PATS.Geraldton@health.wa.gov.au thereby negating the need to travel in to the Geraldton Health Campus. I can assure you that you will receive the same compassionate and efficient service through either of these options without the added stress of having to find parking and find your way to the building.
