"Amazing Esperance ED experience"

About: Esperance Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I recently attended Esperance ED as I was unwell and unable to take my usual medications for a second evening in a row. I was seen really efficiently and felt the team (nurse, Dr and PCA) all provided empathetic care which left me feeling informed and safe throughout my visit. I was able to be given my medication and was discharged with some additional measures to address ongoing difficulties with nausea and had confidence my usual medication was administered correctly. Thanks to the amazing team for your thorough and compassionate care! I felt rotten but have only positives to reflect on now I'm well.

Thank you for taking the time to send through this story about your recent experience at the Emergency Department at Esperance Health Campus. It is great to hear that the care you received was of a high standard involving a wide range of staff members from our local team. It was particularly heart-warming to hear that you were treated with empathy, that you had confidence in the care the you were provided with, and that you felt informed and safe. These are some of the key aspects of care that we strive for in our day to day practice. I will ensure that this feedback gets provided to the staff in the Emergency Department.
