I recently had another referral put in for a FSH rheumatologist appointment. It was discovered I had issues back around 5 years ago and this referral was put in...Fast forward my current GP wants to investigate this exact same issue now with the possibility of ankolysing spondylitis looking even more prominent. So it seems in this time I could have been seen, it has progressed, when in fact I believe it could have been slowed from progressing had I been seen years ago.
I had major spinal surgery last year and it seems even waiting for a pain management appointment is taking forever. I'm in excruciating pain all the time, to the point I feel I'm practically disabled and unable to function, yet I understand it was put as priority 3. I feel it's an absolute joke.
