About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Breastfeeding Centre of WA

(as the patient),

I just want to thank the wonderful staff at the Breastfeeding Centre of WA. I was very fortunate to see Sharon and Jo back in early last year and after treating my mastitis, I was able to get back to breastfeeding within a few weeks.

I have successfully breastfed my daughter for almost a year and am planning to continue this for at least another 6 months.

I could not have done it without their knowledge, support, and care at a particularly vulnerable time in my life becoming a new mum.

I am sorry to hear that you had mastitis following the birth of your daughter but am pleased to hear that Sharon and Jo were able to give you the advice and care you needed to support your breastfeeding journey. Our staff are committed to providing compassionate care to women, and I’m so happy to hear that they were able to offer such warmth and assistance to you during a difficult time.
