"Valuable service"

The ALG is a wonderful service for the Mount Beauty community. This service continues to be very valuable to my mother who has been a member for several years. She looks forward to the three days that she attends giving her the social interaction she needs. The ALG bus picks her up and drops her off at home. Furthermore, the staff, Tracey and Carol, go out of their way to accommodate any needs such as dropping off at the medical centre or local appointments. My mother is able to do some shopping and visit the pharmacy as the ALG premises is very close to the shopping centre. Without this service she is unable to leave the house without assistance. Tracey and Carol prepare a home cooked lunch which is always enjoyed and much appreciated. 

The staff arrange activities such as bingo - which is popular with my mother and the other clients and also trips to nearby towns for sightseeing, shopping and luncheons for which my mother is always keen to participate in. The monthly schedule of activities is always eagerly examined. I cannot express how valuable this service is to my mother in the social interaction and care provided by the staff.
