"Social Worker and OT in hospital went the extra mile for me"

MJ, my social worker at St George public Hospital, worked tirelessly to ensure I received the funding and support I needed to safely return to my home after more than 3 months in hospital. Initially we received a no, you’re not eligible, but after MJ spent hours on the phone she achieved what I thought was lost to me, help. She was assisted in her support of me by the OT, Kayley, who sourced equipment and other forms of assistance for me. Without the help of these women I wouldn’t be days from returning to a clean and safe home. I shall always be grateful.
