"Service from paramedics"

About: St John Ambulance WA

(as the patient),

Woke up in a pool of blood from a head injury, spinal injury as well as severe bruising. Waited at least 45min for the paramedics (understandable I suppose) only to, I recall, hear them murmur another one of these and for the paramedic to seemingly be on their tablet the entire trip whilst I moaned and struggled with pain/breathing. The only assistance I recall was asking if I wanted morphine throughout the 30min drive, then continued scrolling through their tablet. Awful handling of a patient, I feel, considering there were apparently ongoing issues with my neck/spine.

Whilst waiting in the Ambulance Assistance bay at the hospital, I begin to profusely sweat and struggle to breathe (this lasted approx 15min), only to hear two groups of paramedics beside me talking about who has a better morning routine, I feel completely ignoring their job. . Bear in mind there are 3 other people lying beside me in seperate beds.

I can go on with the issues, but I feel there’s no point. Absolutely disgusting, in my opinion, never again will I ever visit the health campus.

I felt it was complete negligence of their duty and, in my opinion, absolutely pathetic to hear them seemingly bicker to each whilst on the job.
