(as a parent/guardian),

We endured a terrifying experience being called when our 4 year old collapsed at school and had a seizure. No one wants to have to go through it but we were so blessed to have our first response Peta and Jay ambos being absolute legends. They had her giggling and laughing by the time she got to ED. And then to be greeted by Ollie, the best ED nurse I could ask for! He may have accidentally burnt the toasted sandwich because he was run off his feet, but the level of his care and explanations were beyond five star. Our daughter felt so at ease with him and we felt so well looked after the whole time we were there.

Thank you for your very kind words about the wonderful care you received at Merredin Health Service recently. I can only imagine how scary that situation would have been, and I am very proud to hear of how the St John’s Ambulance team and our local nursing staff were able to respond and provide high level care to your daughter. I will be sure to pass your kind words along to Ollie who is a fantastic member of our team (even if he did burn the toasted sandwich!).

Our country clinicians take immense pride in being able to provide high quality and compassionate services every day to our community, and we are very proud to be able to live and work in such a wonderful community.

We hope your daughter has recovered well and remains in good health.
