"Super kind bedside manner at Glaucoma Clinic"

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / Outpatient Department (Eyes & General)

(as the patient),

Things have improved so much in the last 10 years, and I’ve been coming here for nearly 20 years.  My doctor, Jess, was 110% in her kindness with giving me directions through the (often) painful procedure.  Recently, it went super quickly and almost painlessly, and it’s all because I got to know what to do, what to expect and when to expect it.  There was a time when I felt my autism spectrum was ignored and I couldn’t handle the full brightness of the ocular inspections, and would be left with a burning face and streaming tears, begging for pain medication.
