"Very low quality meals for patients"

Visiting a family member at Prince of Wales Hospital, I was extremely concerned at the meals being served to patients. In my opinion, I wouldn't serve it to my dog!  These patients are already unwell and requiring medical attention and I feel they should be served a healthy balanced meal that does not look like what I believe is slosh. In this day and age and the knowledge we have about the importance of fresh nutritious food, I feel it is worrying that in the very place that people need to be eating well, we do not provide a well balanced, fresh, edible meal.  In addition to this, it seemed that one or two patients had not even received their meals and were calling for nurses to provide meals.  I wonder how is this acceptable.
