"Fracture care"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

My son fractured his wrist recently after a tumble off his bike. We experienced such kind and professional care at Bunbury Hospital ED. Dr David was very thorough and had a great bedside manner answering all questions and adding humour where appropriate. Couldn't have asked for a better clinician. Nurse Todd was fantastic exemplifying patience and kindness and explained what was going to happen next. Dr Farouk from the orthopedics team assisted in the next step and he was professional, calm and we felt confident in the care that was being provided. Patient services took us up and back to x-ray and we had a great chat with Adam (?) who was very personable. The clerk at reception showed great customer service with a friendly smile. From someone who feels like they are a frequent flyer at ED (teenage boys!) thank you team for your wonderful and professional care, we are very lucky to have such a great team providing great care in the South West.

Dear frequentflyer78

I was so pleased to read that your recent experience at Bunbury Emergency Department was very positive and that the team made you and your son feel calm and assured. It will be my pleasure to pass on your kind words to all the team involved.

I do hope your son is healing well and will soon be back on his bike.

Kind regards,

Amber Hargans
