"Lack of care services"

Called my rheumatologist office to ask if i still need to have my injections of Methotrexate and Simponi whilst i have covid. Receptionist said stop the injections and we'll send your pharmacy a prescription for antivirals. And they charged me $40 for that. Been calling the pharmacy for 2 days and they've not received the prescription.

Called my GP to get them to write the script. They're not there and receptionist tells me that there's only 2 doctors on and no one can take 2 minutes to write me a script. Called my rheumatologist office back to try to chase up lost script again but just getting the answering machine. I believe the window for antivirals is closing and I'm immune suppressed. Covid was starting to really kick in on day 4. I feel this is exactly what is wrong with our health system!
