I had a gastroscopy and I was feeling very anxious. The nurses were so kind and caring and did everything to make sure I was feeling ok. Kate the anaesthetist was also very reassuring and kind. Overall it was a positive experience and all the staff I dealt with were fantastic. Thank you to everyone who looked after me 😊

Coming to hospital can cause much anxiety for yourself and family members - especially when you are unsure of the outcome. I am so glad that our staff were able to provide you with the kind words and caring ways to make the experience a little less scary!
I have passed on your lovely feedback to all of our surgical services staff - and Kate too!
I hope that you have recovered well after your procedure. If you ever need to come and see us again hopefully you will feel a little more relaxed!
