"ED Burns"

About: Armadale Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Recently, I sustained a partial thickness burn to my arm from steam. I presented to the ED at AHS where I was triaged and seen very quickly. I was given pain relief and treatment was commenced for my burn immediately. I was later referred to the another burns clinic. I would like to commend your staff, particularly Sarah (Triage Nurse), Tessa (ED Consultant) and Cherie (NP). They demonstrated kindness and excellence in their provision of service, and it was very much appreciated! Thankyou AHS ED for the wonderful work you do!

Dear sunhz84

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide such positive feedback in relation to your recent visit to the Emergency Department (ED) at Armadale Kalamunda Group (AKG).

It is always so pleasing to receive positive feedback about our service, and moreover it is terrific for all of our amazing frontline staff to read about the difference that their hard work, compassion and kindness can make to a patient’s experience.

Our ED staff are committed to providing timely, high-quality care and it is always rewarding for me to be able to share with them positive feedback such as yours, with a special mention to Sarah, Tessa and Cherie.

I hope that you have made a good recovery and again thank you for your feedback.

Kind regards,

Neil Cowan

A/Executive Director
