About: Wonthaggi Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

I brought my little 2 year old in to the emergency department for assessment and management of his acute respiratory distress related to asthma.  The professionalism, quality of care and empathy was incredible. I am so grateful to each and every member of the team that cared for us both. 

Special mention to Jodie, Scott and Tanya the nurses, Matthew and Greg the doctors, and the beautiful tea lady who offered an anxious mum a sandwich. 

Im truly grateful for your support and care of my little boy. You are all an asset to our community.  Thank you ❤️

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this lovely post. Being a mum of a two-year-old is busy enough, but it goes up another stress level when they are unwell. We are grateful you took the time to provide your lovely words - getting this feedback is a real boost to the ED team, and I am biased, but they deserve it. They are all committed to doing a great job and they will be pleased they were able to provide the care required for you and your son. I hope he is recovering well and thank-you once again!
