Our daughter (nearly 3) gets unwell often, could just be her or it’s because she’s a 2020 baby born into a world with weird new germs etc and perhaps this has lowered her immune response.
We’ve taken her to Armadale Hospital twice since she was 8 months old for two separate illnesses and have been treated with nothing but genuine care and respect. On both visits I felt listened to during triage, with nurses upon admission to the ER and then from consulting Drs. Our most recent visit today we had a great experience with nurse Phil and Dr Stuart. Both listened fully to the history of our daughter’s illness over the past few days, understood my concerns and why we came in and immediately directed us to the procedures we’d like to follow to help her feel better.
During each checkin I felt able to ask further questions on what was happening next and felt confident in knowing what they’d suggest I do next should want daughter feel unwell again at home. Clear information helped me to understand what they thought was wrong with her and how to help my daughter to feel better and support her at home. Many thanks to AHS for their great staff and genuine care, it is much appreciated :)
"Excellent care of young child"
